| Top 10 best action movies released in the year 2012
As technology advances, action movies are getting more and more impressive. This year we have been entertained with
breath cutting action movies that heavily relied on 3D technologies. We do enjoy watching them anyway. Here is the list of
top 10 action movies for 2012.
Number 10: Snow White and the Huntsman
This is the story of a Queen that orders the execution of a lady referred to as Snow White for the simple reason that she is
getting more beautiful than the Queen. The problem is Snow White leaves in a Dark Forest where nobody is willing to risk
his life. Charlize Theron, playing the role of the evil Queen had done quite a good job. The Snow White character is played
by Kristen Stewart and she looks really gorgeous in the film.
Number 9: Total Recall
This is hands down the best spy movie of the year. It is the story of a man trapped in a situation where he is used as a spy by
2 of the biggest world powers but he doesn’t know which side he is defecting to. This movie has already gained the attention
of movie critics and it is believed to be the summer biggest blockbuster. A must watch.
Number 8: The Bourne Legacy
This movie represents the continuation of the Bourne series. So just like in the previous movies, we are dealing with a
special spy who has turned into a danger to the organization that created him. Interestingly, this time round we are not
dealing with Jason Bourne anymore. The production team has decided to start over with a fresh plot and new characters
and that still comes as a breath of fresh air to fans of this hit series. The story is as intriguing as usual and it is coupled with
some mind blowing action sequences.
Number 7: The Amazing Spiderman
A brand new take of the spiderman story with this new title. This brand new movie of the character Spiderman incorporates
numerous changes. The title “The Amazing Spiderman” was the name of the original TV series from the 1970s. In this new
movie we return to revisit the past of our superhero where old secrets are going to resurface. One of Spiderman’s oldest
enemy, the lizard is this time featured in the film. This can be seen as a breath of fresh air to Spiderman’s Fans.
Number 6: Battleship
The vibe of the 80s is brought back but in a different fashion this time round. Back in time Battleship was one of the most
popular board game that eventually was redesigned into a video game. In the movie the earth is invaded by aliens because
the navy has accidentally activated one of their ships. They used real ships in the movie and made it look much more real.
The picture quality is obviously really impressive.
Number 5: G.I. Joe: Retaliation
This film has key actors like Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) starring in it. It is a sequel of the already
successful hit G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. The storyline was written by zombieland writers and it promises a lot of action to
those who love seeing guns.
Number 4: Men in Black 3
This movie has been expected for a long while. The previous sequel was not that much well received and the team involved
in the production decided to take a long break during which they could rethink the whole story. This time we are offered to
travel back in time with Will Smith to uncover the Agency’s biggest secret. He doesn’t know he is in for the surprise of his
life. You don’t want to miss this movie.
Number 3: The Expendables 2
Just like in the previous take this movie has more stars in it than any other movie you can think of. This time Sylvester
Stallone focused only on acting, living directing and producing to others. Big names to remember here are Chuck Norris,
Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and many more.
Number 2: The Avengers
This movies has reached the 1 billion mark just 15 days after it was released. In comparison to Iron man, Thor and Captain
America, this is a huge achievement. In normal circumstances this team of superheroes will not have been created but it just
happens that the earth is facing a big threat from an alien force and the only way to defeat the enemy is for the superheroes
to come together. So for the sake of survival of the earth, they decided to overcome their differences and face the situation
together.
Number 1: The Dark Knight Rises
This movie represents the last part of Batman’s Trilogy and is believed to be the biggest hit in comparison to the previous
2. In the film, Bane Wrecks havoc in the city of Gotham. This time the law enforcers of the city can’t deal with him and are
found running for their own lives. Once again Bruce Wayne has to save his Metropolis.
